Ricardo Flores Magón Academy is currently in its 8th year partnering with Metropolitan State University Denver's Journey Through Our Heritage program. JTOH offers Magonistas a wide variety of opportunities to engage in learning about culture, empowerment, environmentalism, and much more.
Our JTOH team members collaborate with schools throughout Colorado, and benefit from participation in events ranging from visiting the Sand Creek Massacre site annually to having open access to the college campus, university programming, and direct guidance from MSU student mentors.
JTOH members produce art and poetry that has been exhibited in art galleries such as the Chicano Humanities and Arts Council (CHAC) and professionally published in poetry anthologies.
Throughout the years, the Ricardo Flores Magón Academy JTOH team has won numerous awards and recognitions, and is the longest standing member of the Journey Through Our Heritage program.
